The Flight Part Two

I flew with KLM Dutch Airlines and aside losing my luggage and nearly making me miss my flight they seemed ok. They keep you well fed, and it was as comfortable (or uncomfortable) as any other long-haul flight. One downside was the quality of the air hostesses - all mingers barring one - the Chinese one, it's an important attribute on a long haul. Saying that they were by far the cheapest flight deal I could get, I guess you get what you pay for in this life.

The Chinese girl who I helped with her luggage ended up being a local Beijing girl and after some more chatting offered me a lift from the airport to my hostel. This worked out to be a saving grace as the hostel was miles away, in a very difficult to find location, I was severely jet lagged and would have more than likely got fleeced by the taxi driver. As that's the sort of thing taxi drivers (Worldwide) do. Some of them. So there's a moral in that story somewhere surely...

So got to the hostel, checked into my room, and hooked up with Andy and the crew.
