The Flight Part One

Got to Heathrow bright and early to be told my connecting flight to Amsterdam had been cancelled and they would put us on a connecting flight via BA but it owuld be an hour or so later. That in theory actually worked out better for me as it meant time hanging around in Amsterdam.

However, the BA flight was delayed, and then delayed some more and it occured to me once flying that I probably only had around twenty minutes in Amsterdam to transfer. Upon leaving the plane at Amsterdam I noticed a young lady struggling with her luggage and did the gentlemanly thing and offered to help her with it. One persons sleaze is another persons saviour.......We got chatting and it turned out she was on the next part of my journey with me flying to Beijing.

We both had to pretty much leg it across the airport at Amsterdam, me carrying my hand luggage as well as hers. We made the connection but were informed our luggage hadnt. We were on our way to China.
